Meet Lauren! She is artsy, creative, and loves to make people feel good about themselves! This is what got her interested in the hair/beauty industry at a young age. During her last 2 years of high school, she attended Eastland Career Center and graduated with her cosmetology license. She loves doing all types of hair, but especially vibrant fantasy hair colors, shags, balayage, and blonding. Lauren values the importance of creating a safe space in her chair for fellow neurodivergent and queer clients. Please let her know if you would like to request a quiet appointment (minimal talking) if wanted for any reason. She wants to make your experience as welcoming and stress-free as possible!

Outside of the salon, Lauren loves to create art in many forms, listen to music, go to the scariest haunted house she can find, and hang with her friends or her cats. Her absolute favorite thing to do is travel to different cities/states to attend concerts. She’s basically a full-time fangirl (and would love to chat music with you)!! Her favorite artists are Waterparks, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, The 1975, Tyler The Creator, and many more. She also loves all things witchy she collects crystals, and is currently learning to read tarot.

Ryan (they/he) is your friendly neighborhood queer, neuro-spicy gremlin! Ryan has been in the hair industry their whole life. As a kid, when asked what they wanted to do when they grew up, the answer was always "hair!" Straight out of high school, they attended the Aveda Institute and graduated in 2020, followed by a year-long apprenticeship to continue their education.

Ryan loves working with all humans and strives to continually educate themselves and provide a safer space for individuals to express their true selves. They have experience working with people of all ages with disabilities and accommodating those with sensory sensitivities.

They thrive on creating alternative "lived-in" cuts and colors—the weirder, the better! Ryan is always excited to work with all types of textures, lengths, and styles. They love working with the queer and trans communities and are passionate about offering gender-affirming haircuts. They also strive to create a space where both anxiety and excitement are welcomed during big changes. Ryan loves getting to know their clients and developing a comfortable environment for you to enjoy being in their chair.

When Ryan isn’t behind the chair, they’re a professional dillydallyer and nap enthusiast. They have a passion for storm tracking and chasing, always ready for the next weather adventure. Ryan also has a house full of critters and would be delighted to show you endless pictures of them! They enjoy the local goth and EDM scenes too.

Kayla is a talented hairstylist with three years of professional experience and a lifelong passion for hair. Kayla's journey began at a young age, inspired by seeing her Mom working in the salon. She later earned her license and honed her skills at The Sidedoor Salon, where she developed her personal style and learned new techniques. Seeking to expand her expertise, Kayla joined Salon Lola, where she delved deep into curly hair knowledge.
As a proud Sagittarius, she brings a dynamic and adventurous spirit to her work, with a love for shags, razor cuts, blowouts, and low maintenance styling for the everyday human.
